Tributes

  1. We are thinking of your contribution to the ministry through out your life and that your family will find peace knowing you are now in the arms of the Lord

  2. Dear Deborah, Martyn and Carol,
Mum and Dad always spoke so lovingly of Peter who they knew as a child and then watched him grow into his Ministry. We have been so proud of having your inspiring father and mother in our family and send you and your families our heartfelt sympathy.
Rest in peace with God, cousin Peter, whom you so faithfully served.
Love Maree and Cheryl and families.

  3. Our family have so many wonderful memories of Peter. He brought great joy into the lives of so many people and dedicated himself to improving the lives of others. We greatly appreciated the warm friendship Peter provided to our Mother in aged care. His regular visits were a wonderful comfort and spiritual connection. Our cousin, Peter you will be deeply missed. Our deepest sympathies to Deborah, Martyn, Carol and family.
Love Norma, Peter, Graeme and family.

  4. Thankful for an amazing life & special friendship! My husband, Rob felt blessed to be able to take the funeral for Marie. Sympathy & in prayer for your family

  5. Having walked with Peter and Maree across so many years Clare and I are grateful to have had the privilege of serving with them and their loving family. It was a joy to serve for 25 years in the congregation at St Peters Cooks River, where Peter had been led to Christ by the Reverend Roy Gray [who led us to the Saviour in a later generation at West Wollongong!] It was a highlight for me to preach at Peter and Maree’s great commissioning Service at the Cathedral before they went to Zaire. Peter’s support for us and zeal for the Lord never flagged. Well done good and faithful servant. Home at last!

  6. What faithful and encouraging servants Peter and Marie were. They were great supporters of Sharon and I’s ministry at St Peters Cooks River Anglican Church. Peter and I had many discussions about growing up in the inner city of Sydney. He was a St Peters boy and I was an Erskineville lad. Praying with gratitude to the Lord for Peter and Marie’s ministry especially in Zaire. Our condolences to the family and close friends.

  7. To Deborah, Martyn and Carol
Sorry to hear of the passing of your father.
I wanted to catch up with him about his father Donald Gorsuch Dawson and our family tree. Maybe you can help?
    Gary Gorsuch, Tasmania
