  6. I’m deeply saddened to hear of Pat’s passing and send my condolences to her family and friends
I met Pat and family on Berkeley Hostel shortly after their arrival in Australia. Our families quickly became good friends and her brother Tony and I became best mates, as we still are today!
Pat was always a vibrant, friendly, lover of life person who became a “sister” to me.
One vivid memory of Pat is her ability to dance, in particular to Rock ‘n Roll! Our families had great parties together, played sport and went to the beach together. We had come to this strange land, staggering under the weight of culture shock and transition but joined forces in order to make the pathway ahead less formidable. And it worked..
Rest in peace Pat ( from the Talbot’s)

  7. We are thousands of miles apart, but with the wonder of science and the thoughts in our head, tears in our eyes and love in our hearts we will be with you. So Pat my “ big sister” sleep in peace good night God bless, will remember and love you and all the family for ever. From Jen & Dave Greg & Eileen and all the cousins in the Uk xxx
