May Barry NELSON ( NSWPF # 8911 ) Forever Rest In Peace. https://www.australianpolice.com.au/barry-clyde-nelson/
Apologies for not able to be in attendance today at the funeral of Barry Nelson. I greatly admired Barry and had an association with him both within the Police Force and as a fellow member of Bankstown Golf Club where he was one of a few to have over 50 continuous years membership. For a number of years we had a close association when he was the Police Force representative on the Parole Board and I was in charge of investigators at Corrective Services. As well my now wife, Mary Christopher fondly remembers her association with Barry in that role as she also worked at Correctives Services. As well Scott was my ‘A’ lister at Bankstown Detectives for a short time.
To all the family your husband and father had a distinguished career as a Police Officer, an administrator at the now Bulldogs and was a very respected member of Bankstown Golf Club.
Rest in Peace Barry.
I will miss you Barry. Such a privilege to have known you. Love to Bev and the Nelson family.
