Passed away peacefully on Sunday 11th February 2024. Beloved husband of the late Vydae. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Glenn (dec), Ross (dec), Martin, Megan and Geoff. Cherished Pop of Harrison, Lilian. Loved brother, Uncle and friend. Mervyn will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends.

We are so very sad that we can’t be at your Dad’s funeral today as we are away on a holiday. Your Dad was such a wonderful man, kind and caring to all he met. He had so many friends and was such a legend in Albion Park!
We were blessed to have known him so well in the past and to call him dear friend! He was so loved!! Albion Park will definitely be the less for not having him in the community!

Hi Martin, Megan and Geoff. Sorry that I was unable to attend the funeral in person, but was able to view it online. The service was a wonderful tribute to a great bloke.
I have lots of fond memories of your father. From handing out hymn books, to Yellow Rock Colliery. A life well lived.
