Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 2 May 2021. Beloved wife of Vito. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Angelica, Maria and Richard, Belinda and Andreas. Adored Grandmother of Sebastian, Lucas, and Isabella. Erma will be sadly missed by her loving family and many dear friends here and overseas.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Erma’s funeral service to be held at Rankins Funeral Home, 270 Cowper Street Warrawong on Tuesday, 18 May 2021 at 10am. Following the service her funeral will proceed to Lakeside Memorial Park, Kanahooka Road Kanahooka.

Dearest Zia (Aunty) Irma,
Although I’m sure you are with our forefathers now on the other side but thanks for all your love and care over the years.
Your generosity, love and care, always welcoming us all in open arms will not be forgotten.
I can only hope your legacy of love and care will flow onto us all around us so we can live in a better world.
I will not forget what a great Aunty you were to me and my brother Tony.

Dearest Mum,
I’ve been searching for the right words to explain how I feel about you and the love and kindness you have always shared with not only myself but also with everyone you knew and met over the years.
I have many vivid memories of you from childhood- of a bubbly, happy Mum, who was sociable and loved her family deeply.
Even as over the years and your struggles with your health, you never hesitated to offer quiet words of support, a hug, a smile, reassurance that things would be ok.
Even the last time we spoke, as you lay in hospital I could feel the kindness in your gaze, you blew me a kiss and I told I love you.
I could never have wished for a more loving, kind, generous and beautiful mother. I feel so very lucky and grateful to have had you in my life. And so grateful for everything – the love, kindness, support and hugs.
You leave behind a family that loves you very deeply and will always hold you in our hearts.
Fly high, Mum- free of the burdens and pain, finally at peace and as your granddaughter Isabella says, « up in the sky» reunited with those who have passed before us.
Love you always Mum, rest in peace.
