Marie Te Whero

After a courageous battle for the past few years, she passed peacefully while sleeping in the care of David Berry Hospital Palliative care on Tuesday 23rd April 2024.

She was much loved by her mother Marlene who will keep Marie in her prayers and her father Richard, who will be waiting for her in heaven.

She was loved by her sisters and brothers Georgina, Robyn, Kiriwai, Richard, Garth and Andre. As well as sadly missed by more of her extended family as well.

She was always cherished by the father of her children Rex and will be survived by her children Ellice and Russell who she was always proud of.

She was also loved by a multitude of friends, too many to mention. But I am so glad that they had a chance to meet her before the end and we can all appreciate the love that has been shared.

She will now rest in peace and I am so thankful for those that will keep her in your hearts.

As a symbolic gesture, you may wear something purple but it’s not required.

After the service, all family and friends are invited to attend The Postman’s Tavern 72 Junction St, Nowra from 4.00pm upstairs in the function area.
