A loved and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend. Survived by his wife Sue, daughters Joanne and Susan, grandchildren Dylan, Alexandra, Emily, Katherine and Grace. Loving brother to Peter and Helen, respected brother in law of Jann, Dennis, Linda and Alan Cross, godfather and uncle of Julian.

Richard’s life long passion for flying finds voice in Leonardo Da Vinci’s quote: “Once you have tasted flight you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.”

In lieu of flowers donations to the Royal Flying Doctors Service would be greatly appreciated.
