Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family at home on 3rd September 2022. Beloved husband of Desolie. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of William and Cheryl, David and Helen, Deb and Ben. Cherished Gramps of Kurt and Marija, Hannah, Zoe, Amelia, Kai, Sebastian, Sam, Jude, and Luke. Bill will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends.

Sincere condolences from the Mandl family. We enjoyed many meals and stays in good company with Bill and Desolie at Illawarra Alpine Club Lodge. Bill will be greatly missed by our IAC community families and will live on in cherished memories of fine fellowship shared in the Australian Alps.
Desolie and family, please accept our sincere condolences on Bill’s passing in September. We just watched the video on line of his funeral and the heartwarming tributes of your loving family. We will always remember the many dinners we had together on our South African tour and the subsequent cruise ship in 2014.
