Passed away after a long illness with loving family by his side on Wednesday, 22nd of September 2021. Beloved husband of Kath. Adored father and father in law of Stephen, David and Traci, Jennifer and David. Cherished grandfather of Jessica, Emily, Andrew, Ami, Jack, Ellie and Alec. Loved brother of Margaret. Bill will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends here and abroad.

Kind thoughts at this sad time
I can still remember my first beer at Hooper’s Family Hotel, it didn’t take long for my Father to catch up with me, luckily Warren Fowler thought it funny, I was still in school uniform. My Father was more concerned about a “quiet word” from Bill Kennedy when we got home and rightly so.
May they all rest in peace now.
What a lovely service for a wonderful man. I’m grateful to have met Bill, even if only briefly. He has truely touched my heart and made a lasting impression. My thoughts are with Kath and his family.
