Passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, 6th of August 2021. Beloved husband of the late Viv. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Jason and Tracey Huggins, Rechele and Gary Stewart. Dear Pop of Jake, Max, Coby, and Levi. Vic will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends.

  19. I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Vic. Vic was respected by all and renowned for being calm, good natured and always willing to act as a mentor to junior police. I was one of the many who were lucky enough to be a recipient of his sound advice and years of experience. I am forever grateful. Vic was a true gentleman and I have fond memories working for him at Campbelltown.

  23. I worked with Vic at Bellambi Neighbourhood Centre for 10 years helping troubled youth. Vic touched the hearts of many young people and helped some turn their lives around.
    I continued a close friendship with Vic after we left the Centre.
    Vic was a very kind, patient, humble and generous man that will be in my heart forever. I’m so grateful to have had the privilege to have worked with and known Vic. I am going to miss him calling me and telling me I need to take better care of myself, I’m eating the wrong things, I need these vitamins, I need to pick up some fresh veggies from him, I need to stop stressing out etc. He called me only hours before he passed just to check in on me and tell me he loves me. That’s the kind of man he was, always caring about everyone else. My heart is breaking, I will love you forever Vic,

  27. Please accept my sincere condolences to your family Rochelle. I’m one of the nurses from the virtual care team that often spoke with your Dad. I was shocked to hear of his passing. He was one of my favourites, I always enjoyed our weekly call. He was funny, calm, wise, kind and so community minded. He often spoke about all the family, he loved you all so much. RIP Vic.
