Tributes

  2. Dearest Phillip and Chrissy
Such hard news to bear; I am so sorry for your loss. Harry was so very interesting as a person with a heart the size of Texas. He devoted his life to helping others and making the world a better place but still had room for fun and a passion for the good things in life. I know he loved his family more than anything in the world and the pride in his eyes when he would talk about you and Chrissy was unmistakable. May he rest in peace. Knowing him made my life better.
    All my love
    Linda Mudronja

  3. I had the pleasure of working with Harry at the Nurses’ Association for 7 years from early 1994 to late 2000. Our paths crossed many times after that. A big hearted man with a wonderful dry sense of humour. I shared his love of cricket and horse racing, and in 1998 made a memorable trip to the Melbourne Cup that he and his beloved Sonja organised for our small party. It seems like only yesterday when I was watching big Harry shouldering his way through that enormous crowd in search of an elusive winner. I’ll never forget him. He was a man of rare quality, loved and admired by all who knew him.

  4. Dear Phillip and Chrissy

Such a huge loss for you – Harry loved you so much – so proud of his family.
He was a vigilant and passionate professional and taught me so much when I was a newby at the Association and always there if help was needed.
I have many happy memories of laughs with your Dad at work and helping me pick the horses for the Melbourne Cup !
Stay strong he’ll always be there in spirit to guide you.
    Love
    Fran McQuade xxx

And then there were the tips for the Melbourne Cup . Many good times and Harry will always be remembered.

May he rest in peace .

    Take care.

    Love

  7. Hi Phillip and Chrissy

When I first heard this news about your Dad Harry I was stunned and saddened. I recall many memories of working with your Dad and the knowledge and experience he had. I recall the many times when Harry would tell me almost every day his time line till retirement 2 years, 3 months, 3 weeks, 4 days and 6 hours was an example of what Harry would say almost every day LOL. Harry had a great sense of humour and was a wonderful person to know and work with.

Sending you both and all the family my sincere condolences. thinking of you all at this time.

    RIP Harry

  9. Dear Phillip & Chrissy

So sorry for your loss. I was not able to be there today but was thinking of you all. Harry was always laughing at the antics of Nelli, Elisabeth and myself. Many times I would look at him and he would have that little smile on his face and shake his head at us.

    Take care

    Bunty
