Passed away peacefully on Monday 13th April 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Christine. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Simon and Jodi, Claudette (dec), Della, Vikki and Shane, Tara. Cherished grandfather of Angie, Ben, Rachel, Erin, Brenton, Jacob, Mitchell, Heath, Sidney. Great grandfather, brother and Uncle who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Bob has always been the always welcoming, always helpful face of music and the NSW Band Association… to everyone. As time went on this became a treasured friendship. He has brought his positivity and determination to dealing with the health issues of these later years. Our hearts are very much with Chris and family now and in the time ahead. From the moment I walked into the band room, Bob made me feel a part of the family. So very glad I had afternoon tea with him and Christine in December when I was visiting my beloved ‘Gong – first visit back in quite a while. Sending much love to his family.
