Passed away peacefully on Monday 6th April 2026. Beloved wife of the late Robert. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Alan and Nerida. Cherished Nanna of Matthew and Stephen, and great nanna of Freya and Piper. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Robert and Vivian. Edna will be sadly missed by her loving family and many dear friends.

It’s always sad when you hear of someone passing away so I send my sympathy to Nerida and Alan and Edna’s beloved grandsons. I fondly thought of Edna as an icon of Minnamurra, a real character..frequently seen out walking with her little bucket hat and her nose guard. When I was the proprietor of Minnamurra Cafe Edna would be a daily customer, happily greeting all the regulars and taking an interest in everyone and all the members of my staff. She would slip them $50 for their birthdays and when she found out we were heading out somewhere for a staff dinner she always insisted on giving me some money for the drinks. Sometimes when people live to the ripe old age of 93 this kind of history can be forgotten. Edna you were one of a kind and I hope if there is a heaven, there are lots of interesting people there for you to have a chat with ❤️
