Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Friday, 28th November 2025. Beloved husband of Marie. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Susan & Doug, Carol & Jason, and Gail. Cherished Popeye of his 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Daryl & Robin. Popeye will be sadly missed by his loving family and dear friends.

Dearest Popeye,
Thank you for being such a quiet, steady light in all of our lives. You were a gentle man in every sense — always present, always thoughtful, always kind. There was a calmness about you that settled the room, a peacefulness that made everyone feel safe just by being near you.
I will always remember the way you tended your roses, patient and devoted, coaxing beauty into bloom. That same gentle care is how you loved your family — quietly, consistently, without ever needing to be asked.
My soul always felt at ease in your presence. It was a blessing to have known you, to have shared moments wrapped in your calm warmth. Thank you for the love you gave so freely.
Rest peacefully, Popeye. You will always be remembered with tenderness and love.
