Donald McCaskill (Don) Lett

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 25^th April 2023. Loving husband of Mary (dec) for 75 years (and boyfriend for 80 years). Loved father and father-in-law of Geoff and Jan, and Tony (dec). Grandy to Lauren and Rebecca, Great Grandy to Zali, Dallas, Jye and Bonnie. Special friend to sister-in-law Norma Ross and to Brad. Born at 42 Moore Street Austinmer in 1923. Don was a brother and brother-in-law to Gwen and Bob, Goudie, Jean and Roland Bath, Neil and Phyllis, Nancy and Vince Hannam and Ted (all dec). Special thanks to the care shown to Don by his nieces and nephews, “the girls” and the wonderful staff at Marco Polo Woonona who treated Don as a friend. Thanks to Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald for the soundtrack of his life.

Don lived his life by his two mottos-

‘It’s days not dollars’
and
‘Don’t worry, don’t hurry and take time to smell the flowers’
Aged 100 years

Family and friends are invited to attend Don’s funeral service to be held at H Parsons Funeral Home, 278 Princes Highway Bulli on Monday, 1st May 2023 at 2pm.
