  5. i used to work for peter and val at tattersalls hotel here in narrabri,he was well respected by me and my husband at the time,he will be missed.

  6. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of one of Australia’s greatest rugby league wingers. From the age of twelve, when I first saw Peter playing at Pratten Park in 1959, I instantly realised how great a player he was when I compared him to others playing that day.

    Peter was unique!

His powerful and deceptive running and tackling, was a vision to behold.
To Peter’s family please accept my sympathy fo your loss.
