Sadly I am not able to attend my sister in Christ Jesus. due to distence, Denise was my best friend. And we did many things together. One of the times ,was when Denice an. I went to a, Jesus is alive rally , in central Sydney. We had our Jesus is alive shirts on, and banners , it was a wonderful day ,. Hundreds of believers there. Denise put her poster on her fence it was there for afew years. She allso often said. , she carnt wait to hear Jesus say to her when her time has come. , WELL DONE. good and faithful servant. And now Denise, your Lord and saviour has said those words to you. What” a wonderful ending. And Jesus will look after her family now. They will be blessed. Thank you Denise. For being my friend. See you at the top. ππΉπ
Denise
What can I say about Denise in a few words.
She came into my life after my husband died, and I had moved to Wollongong, not knowing anyone and trying to console myself by drinking more than I should.
This lovely lady who had heard about me from my landlady, a friend of my daughter. Knocked on my front door, ready to take me to church.
I thought, ok, it would be something to do on a Sunday.
I was yet to discover how special Denise was. She was the kind of woman who didn’t leave people behind.
She showed up again and again. Taking me along to church. Listening to my worries ang gently guiding me forward, making friends with other people one Collen from church we became good friends the three of us would go on outing together.
So what can I say about Denise? Is this: she changed my life. She set me on the path of faith and a life that is very different.
I will forever be grateful for her kindness, persistence, and generosity of spirit.
Denise was a true friend, a sister in Christ.
Thank you, Denise.
I have spent 15 years coming to church.
Because of you.
Denise you were the baby of all our families and the cutest I might add, you were the only one Pop Hall would give his boiled lollies to which he made himself. They were good times and we were always all together wonderful memories. Unfortunately I have had to go further up north and cannot be with you all today. Fly with all the angels on your journey until we meet again. Love you π
