Tributes

  1. Condolences to the family. Walter was a remarkable man and Nurse. I had the pleasure of knowing Walter through Uniting not only as Staff but also while my mother was a resident in Elanora. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
    R.I.P. Walter.

  2. I am a resident of Elanora. I knew Walter when he was Service Manager. He was a kind, considerate, compassionate and very caring and understanding man whilst at Elanora. Everyone loved Walter.
To Bronwyn, on behalf of all the residents at Elanora, I send to you theirs’ and my condolences. Walter helped me when I was going through a difficult period and he was just such an understanding person and a delight to have around. He took part in some events we had and he had the best smile ever.
He is sadly missed by all the resident’s and staff and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house when we received the news of his passing. I know now he is at rest in a good place. We miss him but he does not suffer anymore. Bronwyn, your husband was the kindest most understanding and compassionate man I have ever met. As Service Manager, he looked after each and every one of us in his own way and cared for all of us. He is sadly missed, but his suffering has ended. God bless you Bronwyn and the family .R.I.P.Walter

  3. We were very sad to hear of Wally’s passing. It came as a shock to us both. I worked with Wally at Shoalhaven Hospital as part of the administration and my husband enjoyed his company at social events. Our condolences go out to Bronwyn and the family at this sad time.
