Dagmar Vavra

It is with the deepest sorrow that we share the news of the passing of Dagmar (Dasha) Vavra.

 

Dasha passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 26th of February 2025. Beloved wife of Rudi, loving mother of Rudi jr., doting baba of Stephanie and Rueben and their partners Remi and Jen. Loved sister of Ivan. Cherished sister-in-law of Jindrich and Anna, and Marcela. Loving aunt of Marcela, Marie, Ivana, Alzbeta and Jindrich jr. (dec) and Zdena. Lifelong friend of Marta and Pavel, Vaclav, Drahuska (dec) and Vasek, Jarmila, and John (Honza) (dec). Dearest friend of Paul, Albert (dec) and Marie, Greg and Silvia, Ruth, Bron, Marilyn, Zoya, Keith and Jacky, Graham and Helen, John and Christine, David, June, Debbie, Kerrie, Lisa, and Brooke. 

 

Aged 78 years

The light of the Universe shines a little less brightly today, as we hold your love and memory close to our hearts. And though we are grieving, we trust that you are at peace and in the loving embrace of your beloved husband Rudi.  

 

Dasha’s family will hold a private cremation service. A memorial celebrating her life will be held at her residence at 1 PM on 11th of April 2025.
