Died 26^th April after a sudden illness in Sutherland Hospital. Beloved partner and husband of Pat, much loved father of Beth, and Michael.

Eldest son of Mary and Reg Simpson (Canley Vale). Eldest brother and brother-in-law of Antoinette and Bob Williams (Dapto), Brendan Simpson (Central Coast), Rosemary and Neil Towers (Narooma), Denise and Laurie Grech (Bella Vista), Adrian Simpson (dec), Ian and Robyn Simpson (ACT), Gillian and Shane Simpson (Cranebrook), Jan Hennessey (Balgownie), and Maria Luff (Jamberoo).

Longtime resident of Stanwell Park (53 years) and community activist. A passionate advocate of public education and a fighter for fairness and access to a better life for all through education. He was an irritant to those who used pomposity and cant calling it out wherever it grew.

Charlie will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

No funeral service will be held as per his wishes. A gathering of friends and family will be held at a later date.
