Passed away peacefully at hospital on Sunday, 12th of September 2021. Loved and devoted wife of Raymond (dec). Cherished and adored mother and mother-in-law of Brenda and Warwick Elliott, Kathy (dec), Mark and Louise Hotchkis, Annette and Bruce Boulding, Jenny and Stephan Jaros, and James. Adored Grandma of Darren and Kylie, Tracey, Kathryn and Justin, Megan and Dom, Amy and Chris, Jake and Taylah, Alison and Andrew, Maree and Brendon, Michelle and Jamie, Melissa and Rhett. Much loved Great Grandma of Ryan, Lachlan, Violet, Travis, Matilda, Corey, Bradley, Cameron, Sienna, Arnika, Nate, Kalani, Mahlee, Levi, Zain, Taj, Hunter, and Zara. Dearly loved daughter of Lilian and James Gardner (both dec). Sister of Ray and Reinee , Iris , Jim and Jean (all dec). A dear aunty to her nieces and nephews.

Aged 94 Years
Reunited with Dad and Kathy.

Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again

  6. To all the Bennis Family, Aunty Lil will always hold a special place in my heart at Balgownie Church. I can still see her in the old hall with all the other ladies with a huge smile and another plate of goodies or a refil of spilt cordial or another great pot of tea. My parents were listening online and also send their best wish’s and love. Sharon for John and Carol Orphin and family.

  7. Well done Bennis Family a lovely tribute to a lovely lady. We also remember fondly Lilian’s friendly personality whenever we met her,in church or at the shops or when passing her house. We were able to listen online to her service, and send our love to you all.
