Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on October 24, 2017.  Beloved wife of Steno. Dearly loved mother and mother in law of Leo and Bruna, Robert and Michelle, Susanna and Steven.  Loving Nonna of her grandchildren Adam, Elyse, Riley, Renay, Jack, Lachlan.  Loved sister and sister in law of Angelo and Mercedes (dec).  Loved Zia of Enrichetta and Franca.  Maria will be sadly missed by her loving family and many dear friends here, in Italy and Canada.

Requiem Mass for the repose of Maria’s soul will be celebrated at St John Vianney Catholic Church, Princes Highway, Fairy Meadow on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11:30am. Following the Mass the funeral will proceed to Lakeside Memorial Park Cemetery, 230 Kanahooka Road, Kanahooka.  Relatives and friends of the Battagello family are invited to attend.
