Tributes

  1. What can be said? Two of this world’s most beautiful people.
My condolences to Jesse, Kasey, Mr & Mrs Toolan, Mr & Mrs Connors and their families.
Taken too soon. Will be greatly & sadly missed 💖🌻

  2. For almost twenty years, Julieanne brought endless sparkle, laughter and warmth to our dance family. Jules was so much more than a student. She was a cherished friend, a ray of sunshine and the heart of every class she entered.

Her energy was infectious. You always knew when Jules had arrived usually with a big smile and jump through the doors, a funny story and
that unmistakable enthusiasm that made everyone around her feel instantly brighter. Whether it was dancing full out, cheering others on or sharing a laugh, Jules filled our studio with a special kind of joy that can never be replaced.

We will always remember her beautiful spirit, her love of dance and the way she made every moment feel a little lighter. Jules, you’ll forever
be part of the Dynamic Moves Dance family, your laughter, kindness and energy will continue to dance through our hearts. 💖

  13. I knew Andrew as a fellow pilot with whom I would often chat with as he got his aeroplane out of the hangar. A competent aviator, always busy, industrious, yet with the time to talk for a few minutes. He will be sorely missed by the aviation community, but just here but in the other places he frequently visited as part of his business activities. Taken far too soon, RIP Andrew and Jules.

  14. A fellow aviator and very competent pilot. I talked to Andrew quite often, either at the hangar or on the phone. And especially when he wanted to move planes around so he got the front spot in the hangar. My deepest sympathies to the Connors Family for the loss of Andrew and Jules in this tragic accident.

  19. Sending my love to the Connors family at this difficult time. I hope the love and support of family and community give you strength and comfort as you find ways to remember and honour Andy and Julieanne as well as Kevin. My heart goes out to you all ❤️

  20. …..while I cannot be there today, I am thinking of both the extended families – its going to be a tough one but you also have a lot of people around to support you. As tragic as this has been, its amazing that 2 high-school sweethearts have lived such a full life together and left together. This will be hard on everyone but we should also be happy for what they had together. I must admit that I was disappointed to learn that the service will not be live-streamed – they touched so many lives across the world who would have appreciated being able to celebrate their lives and say goodbye.

  21. Andrew and Julianne — you were the light of every gathering. Your energy for life was contagious and your generosity touched everyone who knew you. I feel truly privileged to have called you my friends.

We shared so many incredible memories together in our younger years — days spent water skiing, snow skiing, and laughing until it hurt. You were always such fun to be around, and those moments will forever stay with me.

    Rest easy, my lovely friends.

To Kasey and Jesse — may you live your best lives knowing how deeply proud your parents were of the amazing adults you’ve become. They will be so sadly missed, but their love and spirit will live on through you.

    With love,
    Kelly

  22. I first had the pleasure to meet Andrew and Jules 30 years ago in Venice when they were on their European walkabout. They were very friendly and super easy to get along with. We stayed in touch and they visited me later on in Germany and Paris. I also visited them in Berlin and we extended our open invitations to visit each other. Sadly, we only met one more time when my wife and I visited Andrew and Jules in Dapto. We got to meet their 2 beautiful young children and got to experience their wonderful hospitality.
More recently, my wife was FB friends with Jules, so we remained in touch and got to see Jesse and Kasey become wonderful adults.
We are so sad for your loss but know that Andrew and Jules would want you to live life to the max, just as they have.
Jesse and Kasey – I have some photos of your mum and dad from their European travels when they were a similar age to you are now. Please feel free to contact me if you would like me to send them.
    ❤️ Mike & Jeanne

  23. We met Jules and Andrew in Berlin, Germany, where they stayed with my mother for quite some time during her world trip.
Since then, we’ve visited them very often, and their wedding was absolutely wonderful. Our son Anthony also had a fantastic time with them while schooling abroad in Dapto.

We feel so lucky to count them as friends.
Australia just isn’t the same without them.

  24. My husband Matt and I were absolutely devastated to hear the news about Andrew and Jules, they were such good friends to us when we lived in Wollongong years ago, always kind and just the best fun. We have so many great memories and I just can’t believe they are gone. 💔
Sending so much love to Jesse and Kasey and Rita who I remember fondly, and the rest of their families. Kate, Matt, Finlo and Alby on the Isle of Man.xxx

  25. Andrew, many years ago helped us out when we’d been l left in the lurch by a builder with few scruples and even fewer building skills. In that time Andrew became a good friend who we appreciated greatly.
What a terrible loss to family and friends.
    Greg and Marian
