Alec Summerside

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday May 21st, 2023. Dearly loved husband of Joan, of 74 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Bill and Marian, Peter and Angie, and Trevor and Gail. Adored Pop of Paul and Alma, Michelle and Mat, Tanya and Brendin, Nicole, Renee, and Tia and Callum. Dear Grand Pop of Alec, Rocco, Lachie, Huxley, Bianca, Rory, Patrick, Amyna and Maya. Alec will be sadly missed by his loving family and dear friends.

 Special thanks to the wonderful caring staff of Shellharbour Public Hospital’s Medical Ward, for their exceptional care of Alec over the last 3 weeks, and also for looking after Joan while she stayed by his side in hospital.

 Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a celebration of his life to be held at Rankins Funeral Home, 270 Cowper Street Warrawong on Tuesday, 30^th May 2023 at 12noon.
