Passed away peacefully after a long illness, surrounded by loving family on Monday 31st August 2026. Beloved husband of the late Margaret McMahon. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Robert and Cheryl, Joanne and Dale. Much loved Pop of his three grandchildren Melanie, Elle, Sophie, and four great grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Margaret, Jean and Bill, Mary and Bill. John will be sadly missed by his loving family and meany dear friends.

We are so sorry to hear of Buddys passing, he has been a very dear friend for most of my life and will be missed by many. I’m so sorry I cannot be at the funeral as I will be in hospital. From my wife Rhonda and myself we would like to offer our condolences to the family, his was a great man and a true friend.
