Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday 27th July 2026. Loving husband of Trish. Adored father and father-in-law of Celia and Rich, Alita and Wes, Zac and Haley. Proud Pop of Mackenzie, Cassidy, Sonny, Tyne, Kale, and Lakey. Rod will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends.

Rod served his country with honour, his community as a hero fighting fires. He was generous of heart. His smile was one of his greatest gifts. It reflected optimism, friendship and a belief in the goodness of people. He never sought recognition for his acts of kindness; he simply believed in caring for others. Rest in Peace.
Rod was a great man. I feel honoured to serve next to him in the Gerringong fire brigade. Always had a smile and up for a chat when ever the family saw him.
RIP 🙏 he will be sadly missed by many and especially his family.
A wonderful man, husband, father and neighbour.
