Tributes

  1. Carmen you were such a beautiful and caring person who made everyone feel like family. I will miss our family gatherings and your warm and soothing hugs. I loved our chats about anything and everything. You made me feel seen and heard and appreciated. It takes a special people to make others feel this way and you did that to everyone you met.
Thank you for sharing your stories of your life, your life in Malta and how proud you were of your family.
Family gathers won’t be the same but we will continue to enjoy them in your memory. Love always Charmain, Brendan, Rachel and all the Walker-Caunt family.

  2. Hi Aunty Carmen, I hope you’re peaceful and with Nunna now. I’m sorry to hear what happened on Saturday, that must have been really frightening for you. Everyone I’ve helped in my disability and aged care work all make the same comment, you just never know what’s next or what’s coming and life is precious, even when you think youve got it figured out. I think you knew that, because you cherished your family and the more your family grew, somehow so did your love. When I think of someone who valued the most important things in this world, you come to my mind immediately. And I think that’s a big reason why you leave behind such a big beautiful family, not perfect Im sure, but one that you must be proud of. You’ve been their anchor.
I’m sorry I can’t be there on Monday, I’ll be in hosptial again for surgery. But that’s okay, I’ll be thinking of you. Rest in peace Aunty Carmen, hope Nunna is giving you a big cuddle. Xx
