Passed away on Sunday 17th May 2026. John was a kind, considerate, gentle person and loving husband of Margaret for 61 devoted years.
Much loved father of Stephen, Tony and Julie and grandfather of eight, together with their partners and a proud great grandfather of two.
He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family and many dear friends.

Requiem Mass for the repose of John’s soul will be celebrated at St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral, Harbour Street Wollongong on Friday 29th May 2026 at 10am.
