Giacinto Cassanego

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Friday 3rd April 2026. Beloved husband of the late Luigina.  Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Claudia and Dragan, Marilena and Frank.  Cherished Nonno of Renae and Tom, Emily and Neil, Lauren and John, Alyssa, David and Justine, and his great grandchildren Hunter, Max, Lily, Addison, Sienna, Elliott and Aidan.  Giacinto will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends here and in Italy.

Rosary will be recited in the Chapel, H Parsons Funeral home, 34 Belmore Street, Wollongong on Monday 13^th April 2026 at 4pm.

Requiem Mass for the repose of Giacinto’s soul will be celebrated in St John Vianney Co-Cathedral, Princes Highway, Fairy Meadow on Tuesday 14th April 2026 at 11:30 am. Following the Mass his funeral will proceed to Lakeside Memorial Park, Kanahooka Road, Kanahooka.
