Dear Margaret and Families,
Sincerest condolences at this time of John’s departure.
To me, John was a fine man, a softly spoken gentle giant, generous in heart and spirit.
Although not seen by us for several years through both distance and illness, the rich memories of times on tour and in fellowship with The Sydney Male Choir and The Men’s Shed Chorale remain as part of our living memory.
I trust that the sadness of loss will soon be replaced by reflections on the many happy and memorable experiences that you shared together during your 60 years of marriage.
It was a pleasure knowing John Angel. I spent a few months talking to John while tony was in Adelaide. That was 2004/5 then met Tony in 2005. It must of been really sad for John & Margeret to survive two of their children. I will always remember John to be quick with a joke or two or three. I loved his positive nature. I also loved his passive for singing , cooking and he absolutely loved his family. He will be truly missed. Farewell John may you rest in peace.
