Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loving family on Wednesday 15th January 2025. Beloved wife of the late José. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Susana and Rui, Joe and Rita, and Noelia and Mario. Cherished Avó of Mathew, Amanda, Donna, Jesse, Chloe, Zach, Aaron and great grandmother of Rueben, Hudson, Jack, and James. Maria will be sadly missed by her loving family and many dear friends here and overseas.

Rosary will be recited at Rankins Funeral Home, 270 Cowper Street Warrawong on Thursday 23rd January at 6pm.
Requiem Mass for the repose of Maria’s soul will be held at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1 Bruce Road Warrawong on Friday 24th January 2025 at 1:30 pm. Following the Mass her funeral will proceed to Wollongong Lawn Cemetery, Wyllie Road Kembla Grange.
