Tributes

  1. Words cannot express how saddened we are at losing our much loved Uncle Len.

He was brother and brother Inlaw to Les and Mavis , Shirley and Vince , Ray and Dawn, Col and Pam, Merv and Bev, Bert and Thel …..(only Col and Thel left now)

Uncle Len leaves behind so many special memories and a legacy of love. It’s hard to express the sadness we feel about him , yet the memories bring comfort.

As a kid, we still remember the excitement in our house when we were told Uncle Len and Auntie June we’re coming home for a holiday, we remember the trips to Bundaberg with them and on the way home Uncle Len and Auntie June would stop at the railway hotel for a beer and buy us kids a double sars and of course he always told us it was beer, Man we thought we were the coolest kids in town and then there were the fishing trips to Avondale ,where some of Len‘s brothers and families lived , it was nothing for two or three car loads of us to drive down to the river and for Auntie June to out fish us (sorry Len ) …They were great times.

Uncle Len and Aunty June had a unique gift, they always made us kids feel special, and they were so special to us.

It might be goodbye, but your story lives on and your love is etched in our hearts forever.
Finally with our dearly loved Aunty June!
We just want to say we love you and miss you forever our Uncle Len.

Love always From Ross & Kate (woolfy) , Wayne, Gayle & David and Families
