Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Sunday, 17th November 2024. Beloved wife of Juliao (dec) and Jose. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Ana and Carlos (dec), Dora and Antoninho, Elsa and Jose, Nel, Nuno (dec), Marina and Luis, Elia and Fernando, Dany and Edelso (dec), Marco and Luci. Much loved Avo of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Margarida and Joao Luis and Fernanda. Maria will be sadly missed by her loving family and many dear friends here and in Portugal.

Rosary will be recited in the chapel, Rankins Funeral Home, 270 Cowper Street, Warrawong on Tuesday 26th November 2024 at 4pm.
Requiem Mass for the repose of Maria’s soul will be celebrated at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1 Bruce Road Warrawong on Wednesday, 27th November 2024 at 11:00 am. Following the service her funeral will proceed to Wollongong Lawn Cemetery, Wyllie Road, Kembla Grange.
