Dad: Your love, your patience, your understanding, your wisdom and your amazing sense of humour will live on inside us forever. You have given us gifts and special memories that are more precious than anything in this world. Goodbye, Dad. You will always live on in my heart.
With love from Allyson and your grandchildren Ben, Matylda and Jacynta
Those were the Days!! I met Eddie when I was 16 years old at the local Saturday night dance, our love grew quickly & we married in 1956. We were blessed with a beautiful daughter & later a son. March of 1961 was the beginning of new adventures as we arrived in Australia. Eddie was a devoted dad & worked hard to give his family the best in life that he could. Time marches on & his love for large haulage trucks became his way of life. We didn’t see as much of him then as we would have liked but he was a happy individual. Very popular with his mates & generous with his time & help. Many years later we welcomed with much joy another daughter Allyson into our family, Eddie was a very proud dad, & he took her on many trips with him in the truck. As the years rolled on, we had some good times, but others not so good, no matter the outcome, Eddie has always loved his children & has done his best for them. You will never be forgotten. Vale Marjorie xx
