Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 8th of May 2022. Beloved wife of Leslie Gentles and Peter Edwards (both dec). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Paul and Narelle, David and Michelle, Donna and Corey. Loving Nan of her grandchildren and Nanny of her great grandchildren. Margaret will be sadly missed by her loving family and many dear friends.

Requiem Mass for the repose of Margaret’s soul will be celebrated in All Saints Catholic Church, 19 College Ave, Shellharbour City Centre on Tuesday, 17th of May 2022 at 11am. Following the service the funeral will proceed to Shellharbour Cemetery, 441/443 Shellharbour Rd. Those unable to attend are invited to view Margaret’s Mass via the link below

I was very fortunate to have Mrs. Gentles as my netball coach for Stella Maris Junior A in 1971, Senior D in 1972 and Senior A in 1973, in a multiple championship winning team. I have fond memories of piling into the back of her white station wagon and end of season parties that she put on for us. I had so much respect for this strong, kind lady. R.I.P. Mrs. Gentles
