JOILS, Christopher Bernard “Oils”

Christopher “Oils” Bernard Joils of Wollongong, passed away on the 25th May 2020, aged 76 years.

Great mate to all and mentor to many. Life member of his beloved Wollongong Whales Winter Swimming Club where he was Treasurer for 18 years and President for 21. Proud father to Shaun and Adam, loved father-in-law to Amanda and Melanie, cherished Poppy “Oils” to Jasmine, Harry, Jett, Darcey, Griffin and Tilly. Beloved little brother to Peter (deceased) and Tony. Youngest son of his late parents Harry and Faith.

Raise a “black beer” for Oils at one of his many local watering holes around the Gong.

A memorial service to be held at a later date for friends and family to celebrate a life lived to the fullest and to share the many stories about “Oils”.
